The Triennial of the Modernism was launched in 2013. Since then, every three years, the context and architectural heritage of Modernism has been brought into the focus of a broad public through a variety of programmes. In the documentation of the final conference in 2019, the organisers report on why and how the format is to be continued and further developed as a Germany- and Europe-wide network of cities with a rich architectural heritage of the Modernism .

The event format Triennial of Modernism , which emerged in 2013 from a cooperation between the cities of Weimar, Dessau and Berlin, is to be continued.
